New Beanies

The new beanies are finally here, and I have to admit that they’re pretty dope. When I was deciding on which logo to use for the beanies, I wasn’t sure which one would work. What I mean is, I had the vision, but since this was the first time that I was designing an illustrated beanie, I wasn’t sure what the final product would look like. So, I discussed my plan with my design team, and they were like, let’s do it. I decided on the stylized font featured on the ‘Big FYA’ women’s t shirts. I chose the colors red, black, gold, and royal blue for the beanies.

The initial concepts were cool, but I was still a little uncertain about the final product since mockups don’t really capture the actual outcome of the design. Fortunately, I have the final say so on all of my merchandise and I gave my team the green light to proceed with the process. About a week later, Andrew, a member of my design team sent me an image of one of the beanies and I was like, um, okay. I was really excited though. When the beanies finally did arrive, Wanda, who is sort of like my fashion consultant said, the beanies were FYA!!!! She also works at Alliance Graphics so; she gets first dibs on everything.

When I finally picked up my beanies from the shop, Wanda had already put hers aside. She had even taken a few pictures in the royal blue beanie and hoodie. I couldn’t try mine on until I got to the crib. They didn’t disappoint either. Not only were the beanies FYA, but they also look good on me. They will look good on you, too.
